Compliant Periodic Inspection and Testing Services
Working closely with Duty Holders we provide total Electrical Compliance Service to businesses and the public sector including schools and colleges ensuring that their electrical systems are safe and compliant with current legislation. There are two main dangers that can be associated with electricity, these are; the risk of shock and the possibility of fire. Over time those risks are increased because installations deteriorate due to age and normal wear and tear.
How Does it work?
The wiring of each circuit undergoes a series of tests to make sure that the wiring is safe and in good condition.
Then the cables and accessories of the circuit are tested and checked so that in the event of a fault, the wiring and the protective device (circuit breaker or fuse) will provide the correct protection to ensure the safety of any persons or property within the scope of the installation.
Any ‘damage, deterioration, defects and dangerous conditions within the installation’ is then identified on the Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR). The faults are categorised with any C1 faults identified as posing imminent danger being reported to the Duty Holder for immediate repair.
We work closely with the Duty Holders to create a testing strategy which is both sustainable and cost effective whilst being appropriate to the risk presented.
Our aim is to Maximise Safety and Minimise Disruption
